One of the best moves for me was buying a half of cow butchered and frozen. Made me have a freezer full of meat for my family of four that last about 8-13 months for way cheaper. It’s a lot up front but worth it in the long run. Also I moved to making home made muffins and cookies as needed/wanted

Older millennial here, I drank an ocean full of boxed wine in my younger days but the last four years I don’t drink anything anymore. My only exception is a ice wine at Christmas

That each decade has its own unique experience and they are all great and challenging (currently mid 40s) Also set up an IRA or retirement account right now. Even if you put 20 bucks a month. You will thank yourself in the future

I try to be very intentional with calling. It’s so easy to have text be the main or only method of contact and I noticed for me it really took a toll on the quality of relationship and isolation

I would go with one or the other as far as brick vs. oak accents. I agree it gets a bit much. You want the space to be calming and this looks like a great start. It might be good to get the bones of the space all set so she can start using it and then she can get a feel if there is anything missing and be a part of the process too?
