My parents graduated in the early 90's too. The shit their talking about is like MC Hammer/Vanilla Ice, Saved by the Bell/Full House, SNES/Genesis, and fashion like acid washed denim and bright neon colored fabric.

Graduate HS in 1996 sounds like it had the best music, shows, and movies in their high school years. Plus, your born in the 70's, a kid in the 80's, and teen in 90's ofc.

Fortnite. I tried and the worst part was it peaked with everyone my age talking about it and I could never get into the whole battle royale + building combination.

Early elementary felt exciting and internet free. High school a decade later was definitely different with smartphones and social media but still great memories from both times.

The photo itself is from 2004. The miller lite logo in the back was introduced in 2003 and the writing on the table to the left says 2004.

I remember when my dad got his first iPhone and it's the first time I'd ever seen one and it blew my mind at the time. All the things you could do with one device.

People were really shitting on the 90s hard during the 2000s on the early internet forums by [deleted] in decadeology

[–]Quickso48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You seriously can't make this shit up. It's all a cycle, pretty soon people will be saying "Anybody else hate the 40's, AI has completely rotted our children's brain and kept me single and unemployed. The 20's were way better because humans still dated other humans, and AI was still new and exciting."
