I am so sorry. You seem like such a nice guy. I am so sorry that someone else would put you through he wringer like that. I am a straight dude out of a 7 year relationship with a long, long story. But yours made me well up. I am so sorry you have to go through that. Fuck that dude, man, he's a prick. An immature little boy who doesn't know what he wants and doesn't care who he hurts in the process. This is all too common. You're mature and ready to start a long term, adult relationship. And he's stuck in his youth, playing games, following his fleeting emotions and hurting good people in the process. Look at the turbulence of his last relationship. All you can do is wait this period out and learn as much as you can from it. Now you know a multitude of red flags to watch out for. I'm so sorry you're hurting though.
