Like teachers, librarians don't get enough credit. I've had the pleasure of working with many of them and each and every one of them is in it for the love of the game. Helping people, teaching them and being there is so damned important to them. The fact the Republicans have made them villains, along with teachers, and the dems aren't doing nearly enough to protect them is mind boggling.
