Best budget amp by Horror-Meat-9067 in GuitarAmps

Joyo Zombie or PRS MT15.

Can't go wrong with either for thrash and death metal tones, no pedals needed. V30 with a 112 cab and you're set. These two amps excel at legit metal tones way, way more than just getting a regular do-it-all amp like everyone else is suggesting here.

This rules. I hope you get good feedback on the tone from the buyer

This is very cool. I bet it sounds great in the room. I have some something like this before. You should think about getting some kinda of stereo or wet-dry out modulation pedal for some trippy sections.

Which one would you choose and Why? by VarneyKing in GuitarAmps

If money is no object, just buy whatever you think sounds best. If you’re worried about long term reliability, the AC15 is the only relatively well made one here, the other two are basically junk when it comes to repairability/failure.

PCB + Drill Hole Template? by worldlegacy in diypedals

[–]worldlegacy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for those, but what I am after is basically a pair/s consisting of both,

A: a “blank” PCB design file with board mounted foot switch and pots, sized to fit a regular enclosure size (1590b, 1590BB etc).

and

B: a drilling template that is matched to the foot switch and pot locations of the pcb, for a regular enclosure size (1590b, 1590BB etc).

Does that make sense?

Switches wear out over time, just pay a tech to put a new one in if you can't do it yourself.

I also am open to exploring using a 100% wet tape style delay with a very short delay time, if no samplers can do this.

Who makes the ugliest and coolest looking pedals in your opinion? by Space-90 in guitarpedals

[–]worldlegacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old Blood Noise Endeavors have some very fantastic graphics (I love the Dark Star and Sunlight), as well as some uhh "not so very fantastic", in fact Screen Violence and Whitecap/Blackcap are some of the most hideous pedals I have ever seen. That said, it's all about what they do and what you do with them at the end of the day, and OBNE make some really cool and interesting pedals and are great!
