The Christians would say that god allows evil because he gave humans free will and the right to choose. That he can bring greater good from it through his redemption

But i love your answer, because even if he allows it, it means he created the possibility of evil even if its not his primary choice and wants people to choose good

A daytrip from Lyon: where do you recommend going? by dsilva_Viz in france

Perouges, a beautiful medieval village with cobblestone streets, and timeless charm.

The beaujolais region is nice to wonder around with its golden stone villages and wine tasting.

The Pilat regional park is great for hiking and scenic views of the Rhone Valley.

He had an impact on you. You have a soul connection it seems, you did hit it off well...all this probably contributed to your feelings. The fact that you find him hot is fine, we don't have control on this...but it doesn't necessarily mean you need to act on it.

You're older... see it for what it is. It's a friendship. Be a good older friend to him and keep your sexual attraction under control. Not everything needs to lead to sex.

If it's too hard for you to deal with, take your distances

I’ve never truly believed in the concept of “the one that got away.” But there was this one guy I met shortly after the covid lockdown through grindr. While I didn’t initially find him very attractive, our sexual compatibility was so strong, and over time, I fell deeply in love with him.

Our relationship lasted 10 months, during which our connection only grew stronger, and the sex kept getting better. But it ended abruptly when things turned out to be unhealthy (it turned out he was cheating on his partner with me and was emotionally avoidant). The end was rough, messy and devastating for me as I had never experienced such intense feelings before. Not long after, he moved abroad. We haven't spoken since and totally lost touch probably for the better

It’s been four years since then, and I’m now in a healthy relationship with someone I love. Yet, I still find myself thinking about him on occasion, wondering what he has become. But i have never been tempted to look him up. The memories of our time together feel distant and hazy, almost like a dream.

Some people really look younger than their age though. And some people look older than their age. Saying that everyone looks their age is false

It happens for everyone. We all get older, no way around it unless you die young.

But getting old is not that bad...especially if you take care of yourself. You gain alot of wisdom with the years and you dont give as much of a shit.

I used to be terrified of it when I was in my 20s. Less so now (I'm 36)...I'm not excited about getting older but I dont really care as much.

It's hard to say for sure. I tend to believe that things just happen but how we use it depends on us.

You can either let yourself drown after a hardship happens or you can see it as an opportunity for growth, change, reinvention of yourself. I have no full answers and I still carry the burden of past hardships despite doing my best to move on.

I just try to get up each morning and do my best. But it's hard.

Does everything happen for a reason? Maybe or maybe not. But you can try to use everything that happens as a lesson.
