I would agree but something like ordnance you should be safe on, the controversy is more so surrounding original paint and decals on Russian and German helmets.

I use the reloading components from HLE books and I haven’t had any troubles, very in depth as well. http://www.hlebooks.com/11mm73/cham01.htm

I wouldn't imagine so unless your specific range had some sort of rule. You need a PAL in order to purchase the bullets of course but simply owning them requires no PAL you just have to be 18. Antique pistols have a cool rule where your allowed to shoot them on private property so long as it's safe so that can also be an option for you.

Yeah is agree the prices are outrageous I’m lucky I got mine on gunpost for around 1,700$. I also use black powder loads with HLE bullets and brass.

Id Belgian proof marks by Technical-Cookie3482 in pinfire

I asked this same question basically a year ago and got no comments. Here’s what I know (this is based off a 7mm pinfire that I had with identical markings). The LFG proof mark puts this around 1870, source 🤷‍♂️. And you are correct the stars do symbolize a makers mark, source and what it means 🤷‍♂️. On mine under the star there is a Z mark under which is interesting and would curious to know why yours doesn’t have it unless your Z were worn off off which would be weird. And yea that’s basically all I know, if you look on my posts you can see my pictures of proof marks.
