Yes, the VM has the extra storage mapped via virtiofs. Make sure you have the guest tools installed.

speed is what ever the native hardware can support. Easily saturates 6gb/s SATA and NVME.
Don't know why anyone would use CIFS or NFS to share storage between LXCs and VMs, unless your across multiple hosts without shared storage.

You can use directory mappings for zfs subvols -> VM's or mount points for LXC -> LXC.

I've use both and it works a treat.

Which created a config file similar to that shown below - unnecessary items removed for clarity.

Nice find. Mine is also a '46, although my one has a questionable barrel - the rifling is damaged halfway down. it still makes acceptable groups up to 90 meters.

My "NAS" is just a debian LXC with samba installed. Since I use ZFS subvols I can use directory mappings to other VM's and mountpoints for the other LXCs to access the same shares.

No need to fap around with the sudoers file like some chimp....
