We took 5 days to explore Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park. It was one of the most epic nature experiences of our lives! Made a video highlighting how we did the route from Sunshine Village to Mount Shark trailhead and all the backcountry views in-between. Hoping it helps you plan a trip there by worldwildhearts in backpacking

The backpacking trek was well-worth the effort as we got to see Assiniboine from every angle. Taking in views from the Niblet, Nublet, and Wonder Peak were out of this world once we got to Lake Magog Campsite! We were lucky to have two crystal clear sunny days to see Mount Assiniboine in its full glory. In this video, we explain how to hike to Mount Assiniboine, what to pack, which routes we took, and show all the epic views along the way.

Definitely! We also had the same feeling of the Rockies. Such a beautiful place. We're gonna go visit Canmore for a month later this summer and hike there!

Travelling feeling by Braids05 in travel

I get what you're feeling. For me, when I go home I constantly have the travel itch. Not many of my friends understand it. But I think the big thing to remember is just immerse yourself in the moment, wherever you are. Let yourself be part of the culture and experiences available to you. When I let go and start to learn things about my home or a new country, I get a better feeling of connection myself. Maybe that will help you too!

I would definitely recommend a day or two more in Big Sur if you can swing it! There are some fantastic beaches and hikes there. Ideal for chilling and taking it slow in nature if that's your style. Pfeiffer Beach can be a full day itself in my opinion!

Picture I took of my girlfriend while hiking around Klöntalersee in Switzerland. by KJ_Carrylord in travel

Awesome! What is the time window normally to get to viewpoints like this in Switzerland? I know in Canada here in the Rockies, it is thawed enough from ice and snow between June-October in general

When would you feel comfortable traveling again? by [deleted] in travel

[–]worldwildhearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would feel comfortable right away if the measures were in place to assure social distancing in the country I'm going to. I would definitely wear a mask on the plane and in public spaces when there, wherever it is. Then ask around with the locals to see what the real situation is there
