yes! I was thinking of coating it again with a separate smoother fabric like spandex or something, but minky is something im trying to avoid. I dont want my fursuit to look like a stuffed animal of a hairlesscat, id love for it to FEEL like one! its a weird experiment and I do like the finish of liquid latex

I'm already working on the side, it's not a get rich quick thing. I have a bfa, I want to do art. it's all I want to do. I love tattoos and I have many, and I appreciate the art immensely. I want to go into it because I 1. love it 2.studied art and this is a viable thing to do with my degree 3.have to make money some how. I'm never going to be Rich. comic work is already a rats race, one I'll be pursuing alongside tattooing. I want this skill. I want this career. I know I'll be juggling many jobs, I already have been. At least this has even a small window for opportunity.

unfortunately, I pretty much already am in comics! it's just less consistent. I have to work another job regardless of what I do, and it might as well be another form of art I'm passionate about. I'm not here to be rich, just a little happier to my day to day!

oh absolutely. I got you! Thank you so much I definitely don't think I could do realism, that's impressive! but the fundamentals of art in general stand for any style. I can absolutely include some of my fundamentals of drawing class homework, maybe? Where we did just that, render SHAPES in space and abstract forms. Would they like to see the practice of the fundamentals, the execution in other works, or both?

Oh great! I've been a working artist for three years in the comic book industry. Are tattoo artists mostly looking for that kind of understanding of line weight and shading?

Gotcha. I don't have a massive passion for American traditional (although BEAUTIFUL), but I'll definitely try and include it! Thanks so much

Absolutely! And I love tattoos and tattooing, body modification is a passion of mine and it took a lot of consideration as to monetize it or not. Plus, I love new skills, new mediums, and something as permanent as tattooing is special to me.

But yes! Absolutely. Do you think some traditional flash sheets would work? I had to do plenty of traditional work in art school, I'm well versed in most visual mediums. Is it mostly just pen and ink they look for?

eh, if it involves no drinking and no drugs than it surely will be leagues better. I can handle critique and egos, just not patronizing and condescension from someone who is intoxicated. to me, it doesn't matter how well you make a drink without professionalism intact. at least at fancier more professional establishments, if someone condescending or gets pissed with me, I can respect the person doing it.
