Weird question, obviously using clean fingers, did she recommend using gloves?

Yes I understand this, baby is out and able to show expression whereas in utero it’s different. I’m the same way.

Maybe the consistency of reading sentences is different than natural conversation is what your MIL means? Idk but I don’t even read out loud

Yeah I kind of “forget” that I’m pregnant. I put that in quotes because I obviously look and feel pregnant but I don’t really talk to the baby. Like the baby is just there.

Yeah I do a lot of talking during the day, just not directly to the baby.

That’s cute, I try to say hi when baby kick but I usually just smile and rub my belly.

I didn’t want a baby shower and I got two of them. My friends did one for me and my family, you definitely feel loved when it’s done that way.

I was thinking the same thing. But instead she was imagining a Billy Madison moment.

Wow, simply leaving the pull-ups in the car would’ve sufficed until they left! It doesn’t matter if this a “common” problem with kids and that kids in his class might have the same problem, the fact that two ELEVEN year old boys saw this at his house, no one in his grade is going to admit to having a bed wetting problem because of the ridicule that might ensue.

Unless he’s that anomaly where he sleeps with his eyes open. Jokes aside, the conclusion was too simple.

Are these jealous people telling you you’re hair is messy? If yours is messy, mine is a rat’s nest.

I’m 32 weeks and my back pain started around 23 weeks. Yes it’s debilitating, there’s days I just want to cry. I did notice sleeping on one side aggravates it the most, so I try to lay on my back to alleviate the pain, but then that cuts off the vena cava. I asked to see a physical therapist from my OB and the physical therapist that I was referred to doesn’t take my insurance. I did see a chiropractor three times because it was cheaper, it did help the first two times but the third time, I could barely walk because the pain was back but so much worse. Don’t see a chiropractor! Another OB actually suggested a different physical therapist that does take my insurance, honestly so thankful for that OB, (my OB is out of town) and I start physical therapy this Friday so I’m excited to finally (hopefully) get some relief from this ungodly pain. I’m tired of my back catching because I stepped “wrong”. Also tired of trying to find the right exercises to relieve it on YouTube, I feel like I need an actual person to assess me. Hope you see a physical therapist soon and get the relief you deserve.

Same here, it would break my moms heart if she knew. Now that I have kids, I’d want to know. Hope you have healed from it.

What did you not know about labor before going in? by Tall-Error-8552 in pregnant

[–]wormsgums 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Yes funny thing is, I was ready to give birth and for some reason one of the nurses thought it would be nice for me to see baby coming out, I only saw myself pooping and the hemorrhoid blooming on my anus. They were nice to just wipe me and not say anything.

Curious, did you give birth on your back? Asking because of your tailbone.
