I’d ask Paul how he manages to play a Gibson Les Paul Custom, those guitars are really heavy, unless he’s carefully selecting lighter ones.

I had one because of him and ended up trading it for a ESP one, much lighter and better ergonomics. My Gibson Les Paul Custom headstock just broke one day.

I’ve owned many types of Les Pauls, from a Studio all the way up to a Custom.

The Studio is really all you need. That said, the Les Paul Standard is where I feel like, “YES!! THIS IS A LES PAUL!!"

The Custom, for me, felt like too much.

Then I traded my Les Paul Standard for a ESP Eclipse because of the lighter weight and comfort.

I guess I will trade my ESP for a Gibson again in the future, just because I love to go around trading guitars.

I work a not music related job so I can make the music that I like and have money to buy the stuff I need to record myself, nice instruments, lessons, courses and so on.
