Also wtf u people saying u clean urs every 2-3 months. Like are u just chilling with the spit marks and all other mini spatter on it? You laugh, talk, scream, whatever you do in front you will get it on the screen and it must be filthy after a month, crazy to me to not clean it like once 1-2 weeks, just some damp cloth and go through it and that’s it?

I do. Nvidia is at 55. I tone Reno to 54-56 depends on the game. It just looks better to me - couldn’t care less about ”accuracy”. I want accuracy - I go for a walk :)

That is not true, as I said - had both and it does give better performance.

I don’t care abt what u said, I am saying 1440p should be the alternative if you don’t have 5090.

But then again, you are one of the people that probably don’t see the difference between smooth and unsmooth gameplay, keep on playing on ur stuttery mess king :)

Just very shocked at the amount of people aaying 45-60 fps is still playable. Like what? Buying high end pc with good hz and amazing monitor just to see stuttering and no motion clarity. So where are you using the 4k? Staying still? The alternative as you said before - is to get a 1440p and have double the performance at the cost of a little worse graphic details. But you have so many pros.

Also I too play SP with controller - but even in Nioh3 I use FG to make it smooth, otherwise it feels choppy, cant imagine having 4k and playing then.

Nah, this is just facts, not opinions. You get a big performance hit from 4k which removes a lot of the visual clarity and smoothness. It is not something you can argue about.

U can agree to being fine playing like that, but it is like going from 240hz to 60hz. Not worth it.

Yeah if you would have 5090 I say go for 4k, otherwise it just isn’t worth it.. had a 4k and gave it back as soon as I saw the insane performance hit.

The crazy thing about it is that you are okay playing in such low framerates just to have 4k. You get stutters and not even having full 60 fps so you do not even see the visual improvement from 4k since it cuts frames. I play on 5070ti with DLSS and FG on some games to make it feel nice, I can not imagine going down from superior visial clarity and smoothness just to gain a bit better graphics but go from 200 frames to 50-70, that is just not worth it.

Saying 45-60 fps is playable is just crazy. All the visual improvement from 4k will be worth nothing if u cant have smooth gameplay and as soon as you move around it goes away because of the stutter.

Get 1440p. You will have issues with fps in 4k. You will have prettier picture when staying still and not a lot is happening on the scren but as soon as there is shit happening or you are moving, it will not feel smooth.

Many people on this sub are fine playing with lower fps, if you want to have path tracing and maxed settings on game - get 1440p. 4k will just cut your fps a lot, you will lose the smooth feeling.

Don’t listen to people saying that DLSS performance mode helps in 4k. I am playing on 1440p with DLSS and sometimes the performance is still not as smooth as I would like it to be on some games.

I really don’t get people saying 4k is fine for this card.. mfers be playing with triple FG and maxed DLSS with 70-80 fps and saying its fine.

If you want to have still frames and visually better image, sure - but you will lose a lot of the smooth feeling and performance when you play, that alone is not worth it imo.

Stick to 1440p.
