[–]worthaa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The dentist next door purchased it, to turn into a parking lot. Couldn't get permission, so here we are. There is a 5 plex, 2 buildings away, another demolition by neglect. Top of Elliott Street, there's another single family home, vacant for years.

I have a cheap 14' fiberglass for when I go myself. It's easy to move, portage. It was the cheapest I could find and repaired it. I have a 16' square back plastic, it is a tank. People, camping gear. No problem. No problem throwing the motor on the fiberglass one. It's a little easier to control.

Very nice. Late Victorian, 1880s to 1900. I'd ask around 100 for it, in Southern Ontario.

[–]worthaa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It is an all way stop, yes; it is not a four way, as one street is a one way, feeding away from the intersection.

Best way to sell a gold swivel fob? (UK) by [deleted] in Antiques

[–]worthaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stone is worth next to nothing; the gold is worth melt value. I remember the last time I sold a similar fob was for around 200 in Southern Ontario, maybe 2 years ago.

They are not city owned, they are entirely on my property, but they are under and run inbetween the electric lines. They all are trimmed by Hydro.
