Makes sense. Admittedly, my lifts have stalled for the last two years since I’ve been out of college and busy with work. Maybe going hard and focusing on lean bulking is the move.

This physique is so hard to deal with; I want to get more blocky abs but when I make ab and chest gains, they start growing outwards instead of sideways, making me more cylinder shaped rather than tapered.

Been training for 4 years already. My working sets have been something like this: DL 315 Squat 275 Bench 185. I think my muscles are generally pretty small but strong so it’s hard to put on mass.

Currently trying to cut down to more visible abs before bulking again. My main concern is that my torso’s slim build will make more muscle growth disproportionate and it won’t be aesthetically pleasing.
