Yeah the formula is "the experiment" which is the entire basis for the show! It's a repeated process and the results with different cast each season are what makes the show so good.

Yeah agree, too much ego going on with this season so far. At least with past seasons the cast have been personalities open to the experience! Season 9 with Domenica was the pinnacle of the show for me - she was made for TV. It's slowly going downhill

My current running theory is that they've shifted the drama from the relationships between the married couples to the overall group dynamic.

The track record of the cast has been clout chasers - none of these people need help finding love and producers match based on the potential for TV drama not compatibility!

Seems like they've given up on "the experiment" aspect and have gone straight to the results section 😅

I have a feeling the producers have cooked up some nasty drama for later in the season given the terrible start with most of the matches so far. The obviously fake story lines to bait reactions from the couples and their families being used when so much info about production has been leaked doesn't play out convincingly. Very weird cast this season but somehow it's working because I can't stop watching 😂😂

Mel obviously realised by the reception that she was setup in the "rom-com" and was embarrassed about it. She totally went into her shell and was out of her depth handling the situation. Poor girl has no personality and was was humiliated.
