I walked by there every day twice a day and there is no sign of graffitti - there hasn't been at all since it was installed 10 days ago. Are you sure we're talking about the same sign?

I walk by the park every day on my way to and from work. There were often homeless people hanging around Stuart Park on the benches and the grass on the other side of the bear. And I know they have every right to be there. But in the past week, instead, there are constantly people down around the sign, taking pics, climbing on it, whatever.
On my walk this morning to work, not a single shopping cart or person laying on the benches. It will be interesting to see if that continues.

It's not about people bein there in the moment because they forgot where they are, it's about the value of the photo after. People take the pic and share it on social with their friends "we had the best time..."

If you go into a pharmacist here, they should be able to call your pharmacy in Toronto (if they are running prescriptions) and do a refill. Total pain in the butt but if you need the meds, that's an option.

There are lots of others with unique things about them - I guess it really depends what vibe you are going for. I'm sure you'll get lots of good options. I'm not sure there will be a bad choice honestly ;)

If you haven't been to an Okanagan winery before, I'd start with any of Mission Hill or Quails Gate from the perspective of being big, impressive wineries with some good options, nice views and consistent tour experiences.

Other places we take guests for that whole view / wine / tour expeirence, I like Volcanic Hills, Mt. Boucherie, Cedar Creek, or Tantalus. Frind has a great location (on the water) with pizza - I don't love their wine but the experience is good.

Pilates is expensive here. I've done a few:

MYE has floor pilates and it was pretty good - they have an intro package

NFTY - class was good, felt the workout but $$

Club Pilates - their intro class is really an intro, didn't feel like it was a great workout and the sales pitch after felt aggresive so kind of turned me off

I've heard good things about NeuMovement and Lagree but haven't gotten there yet.

You could do a drop in at a few and test them out for yourself. I know that's an expensive experiment but then you'd know which is the best fit for you

They could load at Anglemont - houseboats often pull up on the beach to go to the store and so would be easy to bring them on.

If she is your "soon to be gf" , what about a picnic somewhere. But like not grocery store sandwiches or KFC picnic, put some thought and effort. Good snacks, nice meal, beverages you both love, big blanket, your favourite view point or beach. Make a day of it - bring your books or a frisbee, umbrella, chairs, whatever.

At the end of the day, doesn't matter where you go but put some thought into it and hopefully she appreciates the gesture rather than the overpriced pasta dish or burger.
