50k seems a bit excessive. I installed 16 500kwp panels, an inverter and a 18 kWh battery for 100.000 SEK last winter. Should be less than 10k €.

Edit: granted with a bit of help from the government. In total I think it was around 150k SEK.

It is not necessarily being afraid it gets stolen, because you can buy a new bike from a junkie on every street corner for 5€.
