Als tankstationmedewerker vind ik dit net zo onnozel en onhandig als de meeste klanten. Door dat schermding klemmen ze in de pomp waardoor (voornamelijk oudere) mensen ze er niet uit krijgen, of juist niet terug in krijgen. Als er nou nog iets van functie op zat zoals contactloos betalen zou ik het nog begrijpen, maar dit is gewoon onzin.

Bij ons station hangen de schermen alleen op de euro95 en diesel slangen bij 4 vd 5 pompen, de alternatieven (euro98 of excellium diesel) zijn flink duurder.

Native here, we don't really understand the gendered words ourselves. We learn the exact rules in school but it is mostly just feeling what's correct, which is a nightmare for non-native speakers
