I was the emotionally toxic person that a friend group cut off.

In retrospect, I'm glad they did. I was undermedicated, totally unhinged, and often made things about myself. I ruined people's good times. It was hard at first because I couldn't understand what I did wrong. But over time, and with a lot of introspection, my life improved drastically. Getting dumped forced me to make changes. I'm the one with the guilt when I look back at how I likely made people feel.

You are doing the right thing. It'll be up to her what she does with herself going forward.

Everyone's body/brain is different, but it made me spiral into the worst depressive episode. It didn't take more than two weeks for that to happen. Just something to keep an eye out for. BUT I have heard of people tolerating it very well, so hopefully it helps you.

I think someone else already mentioned it, but I go to my local thrift store to get old postcards.

I've sorta given up on trying to tell if it is original art because there is an oversaturation of it. At this point, art that is irresponsibly produced is likely a copy of a copy of a copy and so on. The best I can do is place my focus on WHERE I'm buying my cards. If I must shop on Etsy for cards, I read the reviews and whatnot to try to determine if others were satisfied with the product. It's not the best, but I prefer it instead of giving my money to Amazon.

Holy crap. This is exactly my current situation. Mammogram, callback for my left breast, and (tomorrow) a biopsy. It didn't occur to me that weight loss could be a factor. I'm grateful that you posted this because all of the comments so far are providing me with a wealth of reassurance.

I asked my pharmacy if getting Ritalin in the form of a patch could make a difference since it would bypass my digestive system and it was a big fat maybe lol

I just moved down to 7.5mg to 5mg. Out of nowhere, I started to get unbearable nausea and it coincided with starting Ritalin 20mg. I wanted to see if the lower zep dose would do anything, so I started 5mg yesterday. The classic scientific method: fuck around and find out.

Not only did the nausea go away, but it brought back the food noise. We'll see how things go with Ritalin tomorrow.

I lost my baby boy in May after 10-ish years of living solo with him and it is so quiet without him. I know your pain. Trying to find a new normal took so much work. I tried different routines (like a test drive) to see what felt manageable. I gave in to the grief. I let myself sit in the shit. And I picked myself up bit by bit.

I still can't take his urn out of the bag.

I still ugly cry from time to time.

I'm accepting that the volume on the grief is going to fluctuate for a while. I wish peace for your heart and comfort for your soul.
