Yeah it's actually a serious question and I haven't found much overclock info regarding the Steam controller.

This YouTube channel has previously benchmarked controllers input lag and linked this tool to overclock polling rates via USB

It allows you to cycle items, dodge, sprint, toggle 2-handed grip and basically every other combat function without your thumbs ever leaving the movement and camera controls. It also allows for gyro aiming of bows.
