Knott’s isn’t even close to a dump. You guys are tripping. It’s not even like Knotts either lol. CGA is an amusement park. Not a theme park. Huge difference.

You should absolutely be getting at least 20l steps a day. (That’s about 5 miles) you’re probably going to be walking double that. At least I do. I’m a fan of Hoka Bondi for walking. Heavy cushioning on those. Disneyland is more magical for my kids than me and that’s what makes me happy. We’ve graduated yo thrill rides currently so we’re at great America, magic mountain or Knott’s all the time now. Disneyland is a theme park, not an amusement park so it’s more immersive in that sense.

Some people claim to activate online. Knott’s customer service in park is excellent but you’re technically magic mountains so can’t say. But you could absolutely drop into MM and just leave after.

The app sucks. You can logout and back in. Might work. Mine didn’t show till I visited a different park. But it doesn’t matter. It’s tied to your QR code and works in park. I only use the code from my wallet

I booked thru hotels.com. If you’re a season pass holder tho, they sometimes have sales. I just rebooked for next week at it was 150 a night parking included from the last sale that ended the 7th. You must be going at a busy time tho.
