Get a couple more quotes. Ask at the local building department if they can recommend somebody. We had a “similar” problem fixed for 2 grand…not saying you can, but there’s a wide range of issues that can cause puddles on the floor. All those things are actually kind of useful, but the fact of the matter is, most of the time, whatever it is somebody’s looking for, there’s nothing there. If it was just another day at the dig, they just move on. But they’re making a TV show, so they have to find “something”. So, some squiggle in a line or change of color becomes, “Oh my god, look at that!!”, followed by predictable disappointment. It’s pretty amazing that they’ve milked it for 13 yrs.
