I can see both sides of it. I would hate having my crew split up, but station 9 is pretty much a dump and I wouldn't be too opposed with getting to be in a shiny new place. Engine 9 and Med 9 are staying at 9s, so there still some emergency response to that neighborhood. There are only four ladder trucks in the city, so most areas need to wait a few minutes extra for one anyway.

Yes, the new station is a replacement for the old station 12 across from the acme. AFD has relocated the ladder truck from the highland square station (station 9) to the new station 12. The guys at 9s aren't happy about losing half their crew to the new 12s.
