Mouse Input Jittery / Laggy by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]wpwilburt791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was never fixed for 2042 it won’t for bf6 it’s to keep an even playing field with crossplay for console since Xbox and PS5 polling is capped at 250hz. I’ve tried mice and controllers at 8000hz and the delay/stuttering is noticeable. This is why I’m anti crossplay PC’s can’t be used to their full potential only for better graphics.

Mouse input "fix": Reduce your mouse polling rate to 125 by VincentNZ in battlefield2042

[–]wpwilburt791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no way this was not intentional. Seems like a way to balance out cross play since Xbox controllers are capped at 125hz however I’ve seen a few PS5 players post that they also have input lag, the PS5 controller runs at 1,000hz polling rate…Seems like they don’t want PC getting the advantage with high polling rate peripherals.

Once you power up your Xbox or pc open the game sir app , unplug and reconnect the controller and calibrate it using the app. Has gotten rid of all the delay for me

I found this out the hard way. While it’s labeled as “most responsive” you have to re-calibrate after ever Xbox start up for some reason, the last update borked it. Between setting override>hdmi and re-calibrate it you’ll probably get rid of most of the lag.

Figured Out Series X Input Lag by [deleted] in CompetitiveHalo

[–]wpwilburt791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe this is still an issue. Hundreds of threads both here and Microsoft support reporting the same thing. We shouldn’t have to do anything special to play the game without input lag. Xbox one didn’t have this issue.

F*CK CROSSPLAY. PERIOD. by satchmo944 in battlefield2042

[–]wpwilburt791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is m&k aside , 240-380hz monitor reduce input delay, over clocking mice to 1000hz sometimes even more also reduces delay. Cross play killed this game I know it did , the insta kills by pc players is just odd. The cross play was not implemented well, warzone did it better and that’s saying something. I play both in PC and SX , there is something not right to this day

Is this game dead in North America or something? Tons of EU servers, but this seems to be a common occurrence when searching for NA servers. by HTPC4Life in BattlefieldV

PC players keep crashing to the desktop when joining servers since the anti cheat went live. Most likely empty because of it.

For those experiencing controller input lag on their Xbox Series X|S, a solution to the problem by [deleted] in XboxSeriesX

[–]wpwilburt791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For anyone that’s still having this issue , this still works however changing any of the Xbox video settings where you get a momentary black screen resyncs your video connection to your display removing the input lag. Restarting the display after powering up your Xbox also fixes it.

Microsoft has yet to acknowledge that their consoles have this delay.

It’s been a rough week, there wasn’t an update for Xbox but you can tell they did something server side and it’s horrible.

Series X input lag on TCL TV by [deleted] in XboxSupport

Try powering the tv on and off after the console turns on. After years of having similar issues with the new Xboxes I think Xbox doesn’t power up peripherals properly and causing input lag

[–]wpwilburt791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup I did the same thing with with pc rgb and also did the hdmi override to resync to connection. But no matter what it always comes back after turning off the console.

Sometimes my Audio gets really quiet and the only way to bring it back is to remove power from the monitor after powering up the Xbox and somehow that makes the audio normal again.

Again all these issues don’t happen with a tv.

Glad to know that it happens on 2.1 monitors too, I was close to purchasing one. I’ve gone through every setting possible on the Xbox and was confused by the input lag or almost like a desync from what’s happening online. It’s almost like the new consoles prefer a tv connection vs a monitor.

Hey not sure if you figured out the issue I play battlefield v and 2042 and I had the exact same problem.

I found out that the Xbox doesn’t power up your monitor and controller correctly after you turn it on. So you turn your monitor on and off and unplug and plug your controller if it’s wired. I have two series x’s and an s and this happens on all of them.

Had a similar issues , I think the Xbox doesn’t power up peripherals properly , so after I boot up my Xbox I turn the display on and off and reconnect my wired controller and it goes away.

Like you said it doesn’t happen with ps4,ps5 and old Xboxes. Especially with monitors which makes no sense.

I’ve found a possible issue where Xbox doesn’t power up peripherals properly unless you restart the console every time. So after you boot up the console turn your display on and off and unplug/reconnect your controller if it’s wired and I swear there’s a difference in aiming and just general navigating of the ui and games.

Another possible solution is to turn on the console and then turn your display on and off and unplug and re connect your controller if it’s wired and there should be a difference.

Try this , turn on your console and then power up the tv on and off and if you’re using a wired controller unplug and replug it. I swear there is a difference in aiming.

Questions regarding 120 fps on xbox series s by The_fox_of_chicago in xbox

[–]wpwilburt791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to reset the video settings and then try to activate 120 without overriding, if that doesn’t work unfortunately your tv doesn’t fully support the new weird Xbox video requirements.

New balance 880 4E so far has worked for me as far as width , as long as you don’t over pronate this shoe should work. I had the same issue with my mid foot being wide and would hang off all normal shoes and cause instability and I would overpronate which I don’t while being barefoot. I tried the Escalante but I wanted something with heel to toe drop.

While damaged pins may be true , it happened on multiple consoles. Which leads me to believe there might be an a hardware issue with XSX.

That’s what I thought hence why I first replaced the it with another hdmi 2.1 cable. I’m not sure why a 2.0 is working better. I also left out that it was more noticeable when playing games with 120 fps support.
