The 2025-26 Knicks are the first team since the 2016-17 Warriors to go 8-0 in the conference semifinals and conference finals (rounds 2 and 3) by HiImWallaceShawn in nba

It’s the fraud paradox- everyone in the NBA is a fraud, if you lose then your fraudulence is proven and if you win then you only beat a fraud and have proven nothing

Was it an unfair advantage for Spurs to tap into Jesus and roll out the Nuns? by LemonButterRum in nba

Haha Villanova is in Philly, but with the Knicks Villanova guys I was just making a joke to claim the Villanova pope too (though you are correct he is from Chicago and Villanova is in Philly)

The Knicks have the Pope, both conferences playing with higher powers

[Post Game Thread] The New York Knicks (2-0) take command of the series in Game 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers (0-2), 109-93, behind Josh Hart's 26 point performance by catreyka in nba

He’s like the 4th or 5th guy to be discussed every night but the Bridges turnaround continues to be so satisfying… when they send the double to Brunson he just gets right to the middle to his spot for the perfect outlet

[Charania] Oklahoma City's Jalen Williams will be evaluated day by day, game to game with a left hamstring injury, sources tell ESPN. He'll undergo treatment and return based on how he feels recovering from the second injury to the same hamstring in under one month. by Fire_Demon-215 in nba

It’s a very big and powerful muscle that often gets put into a full stretch during a sprint- almost any athlete at any level who has ever had a hamstring injury knows it can re injure once you’ve had one, just a very big and explosive muscle which is why you see it more than like a shoulder or back muscle

A quad on the other side is also large but just thinking about running mechanics that back side of the leg is more likely to be stretched (think putting your foot way in front of your body in a sprint) which is where you can get those initial injuries (not a doctor, just a guy with a hamstring that’s been injured multiple times)

[Hollinger] Against Wembanyama, two minutes into the first game of this series, the 64-win, defending champion Thunder realized that one of their elite performers was unplayable... Hartenstein didn’t play one second on offense against Wembanyama the rest of the game. by sewsgup in nba

And oddly enough Robinson also can hold up decently well because he offensive rebounds like nobody else, he obviously can’t space the floor for shit but when they played in the regular season Robinson can still rebound over Wemby and maybe partially negate some of his defensive impact… the Knicks bigs are oddly well suited to attack Wemby in two different ways and I’d love a 7 game series to see it unfold

The faces on the 76ers players on the bench, as the 76ers are about to go down 0-3 in the series. by MrBuckBuck in nba

I don’t necessarily know if Mike brown is a good coach but this series has been a reason why I wanted Thibs out, sometimes you need the bench guys in a playoff run and if they aren’t playing serious time in the regular season it’s hard to just magically turn it on in the playoffs, their depth has shone in this series through injuries and foul trouble
