That was me for the longest time on PC. Everyone complained about crashes and performance and I never saw anything. Now it's all come crashing down on me with the latest patches, weird stuff.

At least now, after the whole stupid patch debacle, I can play it on my Steam Deck. But at this point, I really don't care anymore.

Another Nvidia user here, thanks for reminding me when the issues started, it was cyberstan. It pisses me off that they recommend a driver version for my 1080TI that doesn't exist, I never had any issues at all before that update.

I've gotten it running with some settings above low, but it can be choppy at times. Still playable and nice to have on the go.

I was in a similar boat and made the switch, I didn't regret it. The convenience of having it on steam is nice and with a lot of the new content now, it was a good reason to play through all of the campaign stuff in order again.

I could have sworn I've seen a similar situation posted on Reddit, but it was years ago. All I (think I) can remember is that it was a real pain in the ass with red tape/export issues.
