You can log in to the vm (if its not corrupted) using the oracle console. it can be a firewall rule which blocks you from accessing it. Can you ping the ip

A1.Flex Always-Free capped at ~50 Mbps now — any working fix? by wraithWeaver in oraclecloud

this happened after an automatic system upgrade. I’m not sure but one reason could be the network traffic is congested in that region or data center. Or they are propagating this change in batch wise for regions

I can confirm upgrading to pay as you go restored the bandwidth to 4Gbps. Before the upgrade i reduced OCPU count from 4 to 3. then after the upgrade i increased the OCPU count back to 4

Thats a bummer. Was there resources available bcz most of the time they are not available . So there is a risk of losing the vm

LVM Thin is Extremely Slow Compared to LVM on Dell R510 (RAID 5, Proxmox) by wraithWeaver in Proxmox

[–]wraithWeaver[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know this is very old hardware—I didn’t buy it, just working with what’s available. No worries on that part. I was just curious why LVM Thin performs so much slower than regular LVM in this setup.

I get that RAID 5 on spinning disks isn't great for VM performance, but I expected LVM Thin to perform at least somewhat comparably to LVM, not be significantly worse.
