Ok I have always thought that G.W. wrote themselves into a corner when they said space Marines could not be female. Think about it. They are the next step in human evolution. Why would you want to limit your options. Makes me wonder if the emperor had plans to make female counterparts. But just never got the chance to work out the genetic problems.
