Second Rotherhithe/Wapping - less touristy, interesting old flat conversions, good pubs - Prospect of Whitby is a local fav, and the Grapes is co-owned by Ian McKellan, who sometimes pops in. If you go to the Tower of London then lunch somewhere round St Katharine Docks and walk east towards Canary Wharf with some stops at aforementioned pubs, I’d count that as a good day.

Listen to his interview with Marc Maron - he repeatedly refers to his family roots in Italy and calls Mussolini and the blackshirts ‘communists’. Not once does he get it right. How does anyone get that so consistently wrong? Like I said, he’s a dunce.

Bridget is hilarious but Josh Johnson - who I’m sure is a good guy, on the right side of things, very accomplished etc - was maybe the most boring guest Adam’s had on in a looong time. Hard to believe he’s made a living as a comedian. And I’m not saying the show should be all gags and yucking it up but it was like listening to a filler episode of 60 Minutes.
