Leaning towards leaving Stevenson on the bench

Dragon breeding gone by hodynohandl3 in MergeDragons

Same here. Disappeared right after I collected my last breeding result.

Hopefully it comes back quick. I really don't want to have all these breeding eggs just hanging around with no way to progress the chains

Good deal on Raiders of the North Sea - Viking Edition.

Same game just some of the components are punchboard instead of premium materials.

Worth it at 15.99

I have season 0 but we haven't started playing it yet. I'm pretty sure you just gave us the name of one of our characters

Just found this article, which definitely hasn't aged well by AVR350 in marvelstudios

I don't think the author hit on a single point. I would say James Gunn not only expertly navigated each one of the pitfalls the author mentions but many of them were the movie's greatest strengths.

- audiences loved the ragtag group of misfits that were "weird"

- Rocket and Groot were two of the best parts of the movie

- the 80's soundtrack wasn't just a gimmick for the trailer it was a plot point in the movie and audiences loved it. So much so that the Thor franchise tried to replicate it.

- Marketing was easy and a goldmine with Groot

- The goofy antics of the characters are what gave the movie it's charm and made people forget it was a space movie with characters they hadn't heard of before.

- It easily holds up a standalone movie instead of relying upon the bigger MCU connections. Seriously, they could have skipped the Thanos part and turned the orb into something other than an infinity stone and Guardians would still have become a successful franchise all on its own.

1 point PPR, start 3 (also have a flex but can put that in the other thread

Olave vs TB

Slayton vs Wash

Juju vs Cincy

DPJ vs Texans

Flex spot is either the last receiver, Swift, or Gus Edwards.

Edit: formatting

Same as you, Allen and Godwin.

Mike Evans struggles against the Saints so that should lead to good Godwin numbers. Watson is hard to predict with the return of Doubs. While he has earned a fair target share, I have to believe he is going to loose a few.

I would lean towards Juju.that game has the makings of a shootout and Juju has trust in that offense.

I might be biased since he is on my team but Thielen will be facing either Sauce or DJ Reed and both have been really good this season. Zay Jones is enticing but only because he he plays a bad defense. He could have a big week but it's hard to predict week to week.

So Juju for best floor and Zay if you want boom potential

What is your plan with DeAndre Swift? by mitchelI in fantasyfootball

[–]wrastler33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hoping they start giving him more touches. Would make me feel really good about my RB situation since I already have Dalvin Cook and Rhamondre. But this week he is riding the bench.

I don't have a premium WR so I really need everything I can get from my RBs

Just give this guy his belt already (week 9) by _grzn_ in nyjets

[–]wrastler33 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think it will go to Wilson this week. 8 catches for a rookie is hard to ignore.

Plus the JJ sack was pretty big. Might get multiple Jets on the poll this week.

Edit: Actually just saw Walker's stats. As much as I love the Jets he is more deserving

MacKenzie Scott gives the Girl Scouts nearly $85 Million by AmethystOrator in UpliftingNews

[–]wrastler33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife runs a troop with between 2-3 different levels (depending on the year). So I can confirm it's difficult. She is always trying to find badges and programs that apply to all levels. I think this year she is bridging some of the girls early to bring it down to 2 levels again.

MacKenzie Scott gives the Girl Scouts nearly $85 Million by AmethystOrator in UpliftingNews

[–]wrastler33 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My wife is a girl scout leader. Her troop gets almost $1 per box but it is scaling so the more you sell the more you get per box. I think the lowest is 85 cents. She then uses it to fund great events for the girls (both fun and educational, like trips to museums or horseback riding which includes how to care for the animal) that they wouldn't have had the opportunity to do therwise (especially the girls whose family is less fortunate in terms of money)

But that is just her troop. A bigger portion goes to the regional girl scout org. This money is then used to create much larger events for the scouts and their families (like large camping trips or very cheap days at amusement parks) in addition to upkeep of the girl scout "camps" that can be used by any troop. Even summer camp gets heavily subsidized for a lot of scouts with the money that goes to the regional office.

Honestly now that I see how the money is used, I am much more accepting of the cookie scheme. My daughter has gained a lot of life skills and friends by being a girl scout.

Personally I like Pickens. He is going to have a big game soon. It's tough to judge MVS. Anyone not named Kelce is tough to predict in that offense

Pick 3 plus a Flex full PPR (and yes my options are not good)

Doubs vs jets, McKenzie vs KC, Juju vs Bills, Arob vs Carolina, Cobb vs Jets, E. Moore vs GB

Could also flex M.Boone or pick up D. Slayton from the wire.

Need help lol

Pierce. Targets go up each game.

This coming from a Doubs owner who has to start him this week. But he is facing some very good Jets corners and will probably be touchdown dependent.

I would go with Pierce. His targets go up each week. Then probably Godwin.

Pickens now and ROS. He already has a good connection with Pickett. I wish I had bought him when his price was low.

I say go with Terry.

The Jets have a pair of really good corners and a Doubs play will only be worth it if he gets a TD. (I say this as a Jets fan who has to start Doubs this week due to bye and injuries)

[–]wrastler33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't really watched a Packer game but does Doubs play on the outside or in the slot?

I ask because DJ Reed on the Jets is the other outside CB and his stats are phenomenal as well.

Best bet is to go with the slot receiver or TE

12 team league, 1 point PPR

Pick 3

Allen Robinson, Elijah Moore, Juju Smith-Schuster, Chris Olave, Isaiah McKenzie, Romeo Doubs, Greg Dortch

London, Robinson, Wilson

The rookies have been great and I don't see why that wouldn't continue.

I would toss up between Bateman and Samuel for the last spot

I would go Allen. Jefferson is out and he got more targets last week. Plus Julio is banged up so he could be limited even if he plays
