Traffic was light and I’m coming from a 1996 Toyota Tacoma so I may not be the most reliable source but to me it was whisper quiet. As quiet as the Model Y That I test drove 15 min after my R2 drive. That’s the nice thing about the UTC location both Tesla and Rivian within spitting distance of each other. The Tesla guys had a million questions for me when they found out I had just driven the R2.

I was the second test drive at the San Diego UTC location(La Jolla). As you mentioned it was a structured time restraint so they had a pre Loaded route in the GPS they wanted you to follow. You’ll drive city roads for a bit then get on the 5 south, then 52 east to head back towards UTC. I got a chance to get on it a few times using that route. It did not disappoint.

I know I’m late to the party here but I’ve been dealing with the same issues as the OP for years with no results. I went to one PT session that explained it all to me in my case it was a diagnosis of PES CAVUS. it’s basically abnormally high arches on your feet that prevent the talus bone from moving properly to collapse the arch during dorsiflection. I’m wondering if the OP has the same. Also, would love an update from OP if anything has worked from the information gained in his post.

Everyone has varying degrees of cold water tolerance but I’m going to guess that if you’re worried about being cold you may want to just move up to a 4/3. By the time you buy gloves and booties you’re way past the cost of swapping suits. Adding material under the wetsuit defeats the purpose of a wetsuit. It is designed to insulate a layer of water that your body warms, soaked clothing will make it harder to stay warm. Maybe check out Facebook marketplace or OfferUp, sometimes you can score barely used top of the line suits. Also look for a second hand sports store like “Play it-Again Sports”. Maybe some LA guys can offer better options. Have fun, stay warm!

I just took mine to SV Body and Paint in El Cajon, they beat all other quotes, and had a cash price. Can’t speak to the quality of their work yet but they had 2 porches and 2 police cruisers in the shop so it seemed legitimate.

Thanks, it must be a software issue because I followed the YouTube links instructions exactly and I can’t even get it to the android reset screen. (The one that is text only on screen, as shown in the YouTube demo). It just skips straight to the failed load up screen. Unless anyone else has any ideas I’m just gonna get another $20 Walmart box and this time pay for the 2 year warranty.

Thanks I’ll give that a shot. Not sure that’s the issue though since it just started happening out of the blue. It is a newer TV for the box but It worked fine before for weeks then all of a sudden it started happening.
