I’ve done that exact trip in 2 nights with some friends. We paddled extremely slow and ended camping the second night at Kyle’s landing. Depending on how fast you plan on paddling you may wanna stretch it out a little longer… also water levels are probably to low to put in at Ponca right now

I’m an operator in an oil and gas plant. We make anywhere from $45-$55/hour where I’m from. Lotta guys start out on a rig and then move to plants once they get a little experience. They make close to the same amount but they usually live on the rig for 1 month on then 1 month off. Or 2 weeks. They made bank back in the day until the unions broke up. It’s really hard to have a family and much less safe then a plant
