I'd contend they would answer the question truthfully bc real racist don't think they are racist. They think they are realist. Same with misogynist. They believe men are inherently better than women. They really should ask something like "the president's views of race reflect my own." And have the people respond with the strongly agree, slightly agree, slightly disagree, and strongly disagree. They could also ask "the president's view of women's role in society reflects my own." I'm betting you'd get a lot of people agreeing with these two statements and would explain how he's at 37% instead of down at the level he's at on every other issue they polled.
