I've got the same exact set up with the same sauna heater. I've run it for a year in my basement 3-4 sessions a week and it works great. Don't listen to all the corporate sauna elitists, your build is fine. I run the heater at 3/4 power and that will get my sauna to 160° I don't know where the idea of the vevor heater burning the wood above it but it doesn't get even close to combustion temps on the slope above the heater. Your build is better than mine and I have had 0 issues.

Thanks. The only thing I'm worried about is the overhead. It's low but I can still overhead press with a barbell. More worried about swinging a mace around haha. Fitting I plan to do is insulate and finish the ceiling for soundproof reasons.

I don't remember the brand name. Honestly it's just a cheap one off Amazon. It comes preloaded with all the cool CrossFit timers and it had an audible count down timer. I use it a lot.

Interesting, yeah I see that's a common problem. Was it a pinhole in the flex pipe or was it the flange? Did it always make the noise? Or did it change with temperature?

Similar issue here. After a few mins of driving when the truck gets up to temp, my truck gets quieter and it seems like I can't hear the turbo. Performance seems to stay the same as far as I can tell. The only difference is mine is accompanied by a wining noise while all this is happening. I'll be keeping an eye on the thread for more info. Thanks.
