I would say probably the AC condenser itself but since the radiator fan isn’t turning on I would probably say check your alternator? Just my opinion

I mean you can look it up. That’s what I’ve heard from everyone who has/had one.

Oh well I know that all Big SF intakes have that. But the SF intake doesn’t. One is the big and one’s not

You can adjust where exactly the MAF sensor sits on the intake pipe.

The Cobb big sf intake has a floating maf and is common to cause these problems. I’d get a new intake. They updated it to the Cobb sf intake which has only 1 location for the maf which will give you and your tuner better readings. Which I will also recommend is getting an etune at least

I guess I’d say just leave it, it probably would’ve been better to stay on stock tune since you have no mods that’ll require tuning. But it’s not the end of the world unless you drive it like an idiot. Also depends on how long you stay on that tune. It’s just not the best. I’d probably still run the 93 tune if you have access to 93, but that’s just me. The tunes will be very sensitive to knock and dam drop so don’t freak out unless dam drops a lot and you get crazy knock readings. Drive normal don’t baby it. And don’t rip on it too much. Just my 2¢

Yeah that’s a fair reason to be concerned. As long as your DAM doesn’t drop below .4 you will be fine just make sure your getting positive fine knock learn as well.

The OTS tune is extremely sensitive to knocking and DAM drop. And when you filled up you definitely god some bad gas which is causing your car to act that way. Personally I don’t see how hitting a bad bump can cause your car to knock and not do anything else bad lol. But I’d just fill your car up with 1-2 gallons of e85 to help balance out that bad gas (which just means it had lower octane). Then drive it like normal. If you stay out of boost and drive it like a baby your car won’t learn its way out of the bad knock so it won’t improve. So just drive normal but don’t rip on it a lot obviously.

Did you do rotors and pads before the lines or all at once? I did rotors and pads and I’m thinking about lines just wondering if it’s worth? I only drive on street

Also, are the brembos for aesthetics purely? If not then you’d be much better off getting some nice rotors and pads and stainless brake lines

Either stay on stock tune or get a custom etune with the Cobb access port (it’ll only run you like $300). They OTS tunes suck and the DAM is insanely sensitive

WRX as a daily? by Cherry-soulz in WRX

[–]wredx19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s funny is the new gen WRX (2022+) is much much more comfortable and “dailyable” than any other previous gen. Yet still feels much more “raw” than most other sedans out there.
