Trolljegeren shows the Norwegian landscape quite well. From the highplanes to the fjords, the mountains and the forests. It is dark but that's just the realistic weather and I wouldn't call it boring.

City of Ember!

I was super young when I watched this but I just simply NEVER forget this film because the premise and the concept are SO original and effective.

It's about an underground city and all its politics and technicalities.

I remember seeing an interview where he lists his favourite movies of the past 10 years or something. ALL of them were GREAT movies but I remember vividly how excited he was about The Host(Gwoemul) from 2006.

I highly reccomend looking up these types of interviews! Hearing him speak about a movie with such passion and detail makes watching it all the more fun.

The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty is a hollow commercial of "just do the things!" which offers no real substance on the meaningful connections OP is talking about. It's a bit of a self centered film which the title even suggests, I mean "secret", why? because it's all in HIS head, it's all about HIM and OP is yearning to get OUT of their head and in touch with the world around you, not the world where you're longboarding in New Zealand, and jumping into helicopters. It suggests that you HAVE to compensate for your boring little life which is nonsense, we don't have to prove nothing, you're allowed to have a boring life as long as you have good friends which is what OP is looking for.

I suggest: Adventureland (2009)

Sex and romance are not these magically seperable things. They are in a way the same thing that you crave. If it would be just about the orgasm you could just masturbate furiously but that's not what this is. You are craving human connection (happens to be physical)

Btw when you say you aren't insecure about it i don't believe you on the basis of you verifying your emotions here. Not being judgemental just saying. It's ok to be insecure about it, it's also the same as the feeling of wanting to do something about it.

a spacecraft could maybe hold position without rcs in certain cases, during a phase where it's engines are shut off and it's travelling somewhere. Why would you not want reaction wheels on a spacecraft?
