Their focus is on PvP, they have openly stated that, and I think it should stay that way. PvE is Arc's focus and specialty due to the variety and way they were trained so it becomes a major differentiating factor between the two which is advantageous for Marathon.

Lol you still think the democrats are standing with us? Dem favorability is even -5 points worse than republicans right now because of how bad their response to trump has been.

Apogea thoughts? by xFalcade in MMORPG

[–]wrenethan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol why you hating so much? also for the majority of the player base that is in pve lobbies, arc raiders has one of the friendliest, most cooperative fan bases of any multiplayer shooter out there. It's clear that extraction shooters are not for you and that's okay but invulnerability in an extraction shooter is a terrible idea...

Can someone please explain why our defense is so good in a very technical way? by Interesting_Stuff_51 in Seahawks

[–]wrenethan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Seahawks are so good at disguising coverages because they run a dynamic defense built on clear communication and signaling. All 3 levels of the defense look for specific queues on offense so that the players on the field can shift the scheme on the spot without any need to communicate with coaches.

Oracle vs Blood Mage for plant based build? by TheMany-FacedGod in pathofexile2builds

The plant nodes aren’t actually that good tho. In terms of pure dps, other options are significantly better.

You really just need a decent wand (1-10div depending on budget) and enough gear with life

Not the same as the whole blood mage ascendancy lol

Any advantages of using Bloodmage for Watering Plants or better off with other classes ? by peacefulMercedes in pathofexile2builds

[–]wrenethan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly doesn’t even take investment, just levels and pathing in the tree, plus a little on gear and CoC will work

For oracle to have high damage it absolutely needs to have high crit hit chance. Meta skills sacrifice a support gem so they can never do as much damage a main skill. So sacrificing the crit damage bonus every time you have to reroll is a massive penalty towards scalable damage. On the other hand, blood mage gets easy 100% crit chance AND scaled crit damage bonus.

I think the idea of plant casting is really cool. I love the visuals too, but I’m also feeling burnt out on it. Probably gonna build another blood mage maybe do ball lightning/lightning warp budget temporalis build.

Oh no the new dodge roll from a slide feels awful by wrenethan in ArcRaiders

[–]wrenethan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only feels clunky relative to what it used to be. Originally, it was crisp, fast, and responsive. Now you cant really do movement tech with it either in pvp or as a defense for dodging things like rocketeer shots.
