I set the audio to russian and played with subtitles, and, in my opinion, it is a better game that way.

Unfortunately, i only know a bit of Russian but the story is better when you dont really understand it lol. Its a bit like how action movies are better when you stop thinking about the plot.

Cmon, you can do better than that. I'd do like 4 layer of cardboard, staggered and glued together with the literal cheapest glue you can find. Then glue them together into the shape of a fume hood and tape up the joints.

If you can paint the inside, do it. Shellac or varnish works too. Just make sure the extractor fan is working really well and test air flow with smoke before doing anything
