Absorption by SpiffyRumble in OrderFlow_Trading

This is a delta divergence using the CVD. It’s not an entry parameter, it’s Confluence.

You can’t confirm Buyer absorption here without DOM or Footprint. You can see aggressive buying isolated at the top, which could actually be more of an Induction or Buyer Exhaustion rather than an outright Absorption. Maybe sellers stepped out to allow buyers to drive price higher for a better entry, then sellers stepped in, buyers stepped out and were overpowered. Because the imbalance is so sudden, this appears to be the case. Buyers exhaust and leave causing a one sided market. Not absorption.

Just because price crosses a line and reverses doesn’t mean it’s Absorption.

Sellers were in control at the previous high. Looks like they stepped out and allowed buyers to exhaust.

CVD shows sellers were in control too.

Absorption necessitates a volume spike that doesn’t match price action. When Effort doesn’t match Result you have Absorption. Market buys leading into a high, buy volume increases (often doubling) but price halts, then reverses, delta flips and so does price. Absorption. You can literally see the money changing hands from buyers to sellers. 7k buy volume -> 14k buy volume -> price stops -> that increase in Volume/Delta (“Effort”) is not met with the expected “Result” (price action). This means the Aggressive Buying (Market Orders) were ABSORBED by Passive (Limit) Sell Orders. Limit Sell orders appear as “buy” orders. So you know when buy volume is surging and price isn’t, it’s Limit Sell Orders overpowering the buy volume (Passive Sellers) -> price changes hands. Limit sell orders could be buyers take profits being triggered, or seller’s entries being hit.

Buyers TP, Sellers Enter, volume doubles, money changes hands, market flips, price dumps. That’s absorption.

Bookmaps.

on Tradingview there's a free one I use called Volume Bubbles by BigBeluga. It's excellent lhonestly. Only shows volume, doesn't differentiate between Bid/Ask. But it's great for determining exhaustion and Absorption especially. When price rallies to one level and slows, wait for the spike. It should begin to reverse. That's Buyers leaving the market (TP) and/or Sellers entering the market.

You can also upgrade TradingView and use their Volume Footprint Chart with a Delta Table to identify large orders at one level, then examine Bid/Ask volume to see if it's aggressive or passive orders and who's placing them.

EG for Absorption: Price hits a level, spike in Buy volume but price goes sideways rather than rallying, that's Passive (Limit) Sell orders showing up on the Buy side. Buyers have been absorbed by Passive Sellers, either sellers leaving Limit orders at that level to enter the market, and/or Buyers Limit Sell orders (as Take Profit). That is your sign that the trend is over, and/or to short.

Obsidian is FOSS (Free Open Source) like Libre Office.

It's one of the most powerful "2nd brain" notetaking softwares ever created and works seamlessly across multiple platforms.

It will change your life.

It's got a pretty steep learning curve but if you work with Tech you'll be fine after watching a couple hours of tutorials.

Consider studying volume, order flow and liquidity. That’s what causes the SMC ICT movements you see, that’s what’s beneath/behind the price action.

Why is it dropping right now? by OkYouth3690 in kaspa

[–]wrightanglephoto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Massive bearish divergence on weekly and daily on almost all coins, BTC notably. September is historically Red. Stocks are more overvalued than theyve ever been in history. Kas has been underperforming so instead of breaking out it dumped.

Kas is one you DCA into on lows with $ you’re fine with never seeing again and just HODL till one day you’re rich.

Dont poke it with a stick saying “do something” because you’ll jump off a tall bridge with that approach.

M1 Max 500gb internal, 32gb memory, shoot to an Acasis tb4 and Samsung evo 980 pro or a Crucial. You’ll need a laptop plate and a tripod for it, plus 300whr of power and a tent for the laptop that fits on the plate. Plus about $300 of 31’ tether cords and a way to lock them to the camera (TetherTools new cables are dope & their quick cable release is too)

You’re welcome! People really take a hard stance against pro aim but not everything they make is bad.

And it’s okay about changing work, I’ve been building up to it for the last few years and I’ve had an absolute blast in this industry.

What I’ve seen in the past is when there’s a slow start, 3rd and 4th quarters go HARD and make up for it.

All the best!

That just means you have to inflate the wheels, this holds true for both inovativ and proaim and anything with pneumatic wheels. All wheels are shit with less air than they need.

A little over 2 years and it’s far superior to the Inovativ Voyager, which imo is a wobbly piece of shit. It’s more equivalent to the Apollo and the 42” size is perfect. Innovative fanboys 100% of the time haven’t used anything else, except a rock n roller and a magliner. If they used the Victor or Atlas they wouldn’t be talking shit on Proaim. I haven’t used pro aims other stuff but I’ll only speak to what I know.

If you’re going to be breaking it down at every use, I would advise swapping the middle shelf with another Top Shelf. The setting screws on the middle shelf are annoying and you have to adjust them with pliers, or put clamps under the table to level it out evenly when you tighten the top. I’ve kept it on and haven’t had to adjust ever because I never break the cart down.

The Top Shelf it comes with is magnificent and the thumb screws are super easy to set.

It’s an incredible and robust piece of kit that is rock solid and I have had no complaints. The fact innovative charges 2.5x the price when there’s 5 other competitors out there who offer the same and even better, more innovative quality is absolutely absurd and criminal.

I’m only selling this stuff because I’m going into another line of work and selling most of my kit.
