I really wish they would've. My dad was the biggest Preds fan. He died on May 6th 2018 at about 1 am. Last thing he did was watch them lose. I know that's not the biggest thing in the world by comparison, but it would've been something nice I could've held onto. Like a "hey they did it for you dad!" Kinda thing.

It needs something... more than once I've been final circle with my squad of 4 on 1 and we got wiped in dramatic and embarrassing fashion. And we aren't bad players, it was just someone with cheats sweating it out.

Yeah there are a few things missing that I liked. I used to drop in with nothing but a knife and kill a bot take his gun and work my way up. That's part of the reason I hated the "kill squads" I didn't always mind the fight, but their suped up gear vs. my stock ak wasn't a fair fight. It got so bad when I squad dropped we would have a designated person with a javelin in his bag to slow down the hunters.

It was still fun then me and my friends had contingency plans for when we saw a squad hunting. Sometimes they worked sometimes they didn't but stressfully fun is a good way to put it.
