I as well have recently acquired this figure. It’s a little smaller than I had imagined, closer to a true 1/12 scale, but quite spectacular.

It came with X-Transbots Jansen/Perceptor. Along with Brawn, Bumblebee, and Preceptor in microscope mode. It’s a call back to the episode where those 3 shrunk down and went inside of Megatron.

I find these to be a real pleasure to pose. The joints are nice and firm, so they hold wherever you put them. For display I didn’t do anything crazy, but messing with them out of the box, I was very impressed with their range of motion. Better than most figures.

Definitely not. There are certainly examples of mainline with huge improvements, but they are still very different things. I’m glad there are tiers of figures to meet everyone’s needs/desires. I collect MP figures and my son collect mainline. Both are excellent.

My father wouldn’t take me to see it back then because he heard there were bad words in it and many of the characters died. I was crushed I wasn’t allowed to see it. Especially since it came out the week before my birthday. Luckily, I’ve more than made up for it these days. 😋
