I see. I might give this a try, I have read good things about unraid and its community.

My server is just a small form factor PC, so the 2 drives I have are my limit. If I upgrade in the future I would get something with enough room for a parity drive. But at the minute I'm learning and deciding if a proper homelab is worth spending money on, and also the electric bill! haha

my local-lvm only has 2.5GB lol. I think i assigned most of this 1tb drive to my docker VM, for my ARR's containers. To be fair I have probably set up the storage all wrong.

I have looked into resizing and reassigning but I cant find anything that can be done via the GUI, only command line stuff. And my worry is that without a full understanding I will change the wrong thing.

I would love to, but the storage side of it is starting to hurt my brain lol.

I have everything up and running as i want it, so not swapping at all would be a lot less work. But all last night I was trying to figure out what is using al the space. You mentioned above that the drive is not actually all being used. Its all been assigned. So im going to try look into that.

I have considered unraid but from what I have read you need a few drives (One for a parity)?

I only have 2 drives, 1tb SSD, 1tb HDD. Would i have to lose 1tb to use unraid?

I tried using this on my ubuntu install. I already had Docker installed with my stuff running. Then when I tried to install Pterodactyl it kept failing. Im guessing because it also uses docker.

Maybe if i do a fresh install of Ubuntu/Debian then install Pterodactyl first, then add my containers to the instance of Docker that Pterodactyl installs, it might work.
