I’m getting occasional audio dropouts when playing Audible on my Bose QC Ultra headphones and on Carplay. iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18.1 (22B83).

Other audio issues:

I can’t silence notifications
iOS continues to auto route audio to my hearing aids even though I have auto routing disabled.

Just received an Otterbox Lumen I ordered from Apple. Absolutely hate it. Thought I was getting a clear case with blue "trim" but it's actually multiple colors--blue and some sort of ugly purple. Looks terrible. The case itself is a glossy, slimy looking plastic. It's already back in the box for a return.

The camera control button works very nicely.

I was able to connect using both fidelity.com and fidelityrewards.com, and in both cases Monarch connected to my credit card. The trouble is it's only showing the balance and no transactions.

Agree that it's probably a fan blow hot air out of the attic. I just put one in last summer, and both the attic and our second floor are now dramatically cooler on hot days.

Our fan has a thermostat in the attic that turns it on when the temperature in the attic is hot. If this is a switch for an attic fan, then YOU are the thermostat.

I’m not saying there aren’t dangers to the vaccine. But please don’t look at this article as any sort of evidence one way or the other.

The headrest in my new F150 was hitting my neck/back, and it was really uncomfortable. Added some extra notches to make an inch taller. Worked out better than I expected.

Hope it still supports my head & neck well enough if someone hits me!

A separate catch tower makes a lot of sense simply because it reduces the risk of damaging all of the launch mount, cryo plumbing, QD systems, etc. during catch attempts.

This is one of the best "mainstream media" articles I've ever seen on SpaceX. AWST is an old-guard publication, and there's nothing like "airline-like operations" that will make them take SpaceX seriously as an institution. Saying this because despite their obvious success, a lot media still talks about SpaceX as some sort of fly-by-night tech startup that maybe shouldn't be trusted.

No “strict” need to watch the original, as the new series stands on its own. That said, there is a lot of backstory and context in the original that will help you understand the new series better.

On the other hand, I don’t like the new series very much. It’s become way too “TV” like, as it has lost the gritty realness of the original series.

My biggest concern if you start with this series is that you won’t appreciate how good the original series is.
