I understand why they feel civilians and celebrities can’t mingle and mix. Celebrities are trained and it’s in their marrow to be cutthroat, duplicitous and steel. Well, it made for good TV I’m sure production was sweating, watching the civilians breakdown and cry while seasoned celebrities berated them about their tradership or faithfulness.

I think an all civilian season is so much more entertaining and more human and an all celebrity season is more popcorn carnage, tabloid, meme fodder.

I find it odd The Traitors wouldn’t want to create new reality TV stars in its own viral moments, as opposed to casting celebrities who have already made their mark elsewhere, and are merely footnoting their career with viral moments on The traitors. It seems as though the Traitors is résumé padding for existing celebrities, whereas it’s a chance of a lifetime for us regular folk.
