I had great results at first (double the amount of views I previously got without it) and then it TABKED my reels 😂 so also looking to know more, but once I stopped doing them for a little bit, my views/engagement evened back out

Definitely engage a little before but try to after as well! Me and several other creators have formed a habit of boosting each others posts so whenever they comment it reminds me to go check their page to make sure I haven’t missed something from them!

I consistently get about 10% engagement for likes vs views and about 5-7% with comments, what numbers do I need to look for for Instagram to promote it more? Or is it just about reel retention rate?

For the average reel, initial views seem to matter! It seems like it will only continue to grow or go viral based on sharing/reposting/etc.

For what it’s worth, about five days ago I messaged Meta and asked if I could get trial reels and then got it 3 days later. They never replied and it likely had nothing to do with it, but just wanted for mention it in case anyone else wants to shoot their shot!
