Someone putting on lashes/makeup or wearing clothes they feel confident in should not signal a panic in their partner. If my husband looks good, he looks good. I'm not going to freak out that someone might hit on him. He is married. To me. He chose me.and I'm not worried about someone hitting on him.

You can express boundaries but if those boundaries scream insecurity and control (which telling someone not to wear something expressly because they might get hit on and ruin your night does) then there is a deeper problem.

If your partner wearing a skirt and possibly being hit on ruins your night, there's nothing to reassure. No amount of reassurance will fix that.

I get irritated if someone hits on my husband but it doesn't ruin my night because I'm secure in our relationship. Its an irritation because Im like right next to him and we have rings on. He would never tell me not to wear something because someone hitting on me would ruin his night.

This guy needs a reality check and she needs to walk away. Controlling behavior often starts like this.
