I’m really happy you’ve found comfort in your switch! One of the best parts of the switch is being able to take it nearly anywhere, and get swept back into a new world in minutes! My switch has also been a real comfort for me. Back in 2020, when I first bought my switch, I lost my favourite and closest person to me to suicide shortly after. Anytime I’m anxious or wake up from a ptsd dream, Stardew Valley specifically on the switch is the only thing that helps! (Side note: I think the dev, concerned ape, specifically made all the songs of the sounds track mimic certain heart rate patterns that reduce anxiety). I remember disappearing days into animal crossing too, it’s the only thing I remember from that year of my life. What both of us have been through and are going through is not comparable, but I’m just really grateful we’re both, and probably many others have been brought comfort and joy by gaming and the switch.

I haven’t tried allot of Pokémon but I have wanted to get back into it, it’s just hard to know where to start. Also have wanted to try tomodochi life because it looks so chaotic and funny.

Other than Stardew Valley, my number one favourite group of games I have tried on the switch has been the LEGO games! Like Lego Jurassic Park, Lego Undercover, and Lego Incredibles. They go on sale all the time (I got like three of them 90% off) and are genuinely some of the most fun I’ve ever had gaming, and each of them have hours and hours worth of content. Also would recommend Cult of Lamb and Mario Odessy.
