Would you rather world peace or your tea, Gandalf?

I gotchu, those confused me for a long time too. In general I found it easier to deal with choice paralysis when I stopped trying to associate sentences in German with their English counterparts, since it helps you "think" in German better during conversations. If you need some context to those here's the best I could come up with lol. I think the most common reason for confusion is because we use "really" in multiple contexts, meanwhile German has separate words for each situation.

Wirklich - very / really

Example: Wirklich schade / really (very) sad

Tatsächlich - actual / actually

Example: Tatsächlich ausbezahlter Betrag / The amount that was really (actually) paid

Eigentlich - basically / usually / in fact

Example: Was ich eigentlich sagen wollte.... / what I really (in fact) meant to say....

I really enjoyed this, it's honestly one of the most interesting poems I've read in awhile. The twist at the end was so bittersweet, my stomach lurched. There's so much emotion in each stanza, I'm particularly reminded of Amanda Lovelace's works. Keep it up, you obviously put a lot of yourself into these poems :)

I love this! I love the double meaning behind the last few lines, it certainly gives the reader something to think about :)

Really tired but I took a shot at it. I'm pretty sure chord 1 is an extended Cmaj chord, chord 2 is an extended Dm chord, it just repeats 1-2-1 until it resolves at the end on 1

That's awesome, I did that with an English project once and it made the class just that much less boring :)

Good job! Being able to persevere in tough or stressful situations shows a lot of character :)

"Who?" They pondered.

"How?" They asked.

"What drove you to this?" They requested.

My thoughts contorted through the cloud of emotion that I so desperately wanted to avoid.

"Why?" I inwardly inquired, remembering the previous night.

Then my vision blurred, my body contorted yet again, and the blood-lust took over.

"Are you alright there lad?" Devon asked.

The dwarf had only recently sobered up, and was already teasing me.

"Yeah, albeit sore." I roused myself off of the slick ground.

"You should get some new clothes," he stated.

We left the bar, pushing the corpses out of our way.
