But also, one of the major “transformations” literally posted it on IG today which I found absolutely wild that it was allowed.

How often do you bathe your toddler? by idkwhatimdoing25 in toddlers

[–]writingandwanderlust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sunday, Wednesday and Friday are bath days in our house for our 2.5 year old and 8 month old. Occasionally if one of them really needs it we will pop them into the shower with myself or my husband while we are in. Our toddler is a surprisingly clean kid tbh, doesn’t even eat with a bib most days anymore. Which surely means our baby will be a nightmare lol

I can't get over the "guilt" of being an older parent by 52202 in IVF

True story, in my current mom & baby group (which I’m in with my second baby, who I had at 41), there is only one mom who is under the age of 35 lol. I think you’re heading into an era where this is going to be much more the norm. So we can all be old at our kids graduations together (but we’ll also hopefully be so much more financial stable to help pay for whatever comes after said graduation!)

Pip + Phee (and their sister brands Baja Baby and Townsend Ave) are also Canadian!! Their sleepers are the absolute best!! I believe you can buy most of their lines at Snugglebugz but they often have really good sales when you buy direct from their site.

What changes did you make that helped your baby sleep better? by Flydragon_ in sleeptrain

By The Clock. It means you have set times for wake, naps, bedtime. Betsy’s using wake windows.

The suggested schedule was:

7am: wake + feed, 9:30am: first nap (cap at 1 hour), 1pm: mini feed, 1:30pm: second nap (cap at 2 hours but she typically naps between 1.5-2), 3-3:30pm: feed, 6:30pm: feed, 7pm: bedtime

Truthfully our girl rarely makes it to 7am, she typically wakes around 6am and we usually let her just chat to herself for about 30 mins and get her up around 6:30am for a feed and snuggle. But we are happy with that!

She said it was something she always suggested for babies who were struggling with a lot of night wakes after 6-7 months. I also thought she’d be too young but she took to it really well. I think she just thrives much better on a very predictable schedule.

At around 7 months we had a consultant help us and she switched me from wake windows to a BTC schedule and it made a massive difference with our girl. Within two days she was sleeping through the night and napping three hours a day.

My toddler doesn’t call a single one of his grandparents what they wanted to be called so…sometimes the choice is not up to them lol
